Hi everyone,
Well here I am back after a 5weeek and 500 mile trek from France and accross Spain...
What an amazing experience, fantastic journey and awesome learning curve..... If not at times a little tough, especially climbing up 1500m in a blizzard on the very first day and one in which a young lady lost her life. All very sad and even though she was not someone I knew or even ever met, we were on the same journey and I feel very much connected to her and all the other pilgrims who havge walked over the years the way from Saint jean to Santiago. My heart goes out to her and my thoughts are with her loved ones in this time of loss.
It was very tough to come home again and my emotions have been all over the place, sadness at coming home and leaving new friends and loved ones behind, leaving behind such a simple and pleasant way of being and living, an open way and an honest way, a way full of love and helping and compassion, a way of non judgment. Also I come home and my daughter gives birth to a lovely little healthy boy called Dylon and to the news that a great friend has lost a daughter in law to sucide......
Life can be strange and difficult and very very emotional. I guess as sentiant beings we are here to feel all our emotions, no matter what we may think in the moment and in the midst of great suffering or pleasure.....
