Christmas & Dyslexia

WOO HOO :O) Monday the 21st December 2009..... OMG I can hardly believe we are a decade into the 'New Millenium' already!!! Oh where has the past ten years of life gone? lol

Three more working days left for me and then.....an almight 5 days off chuckle.. a whole FIVE days lol

I am so excited about this Christmas. That's the first time in about 12 years and all thanks to my lovely daughter and her gorgeous family.
This is Amelia and Madison, her beautiful twin girls and I must not forget to mention the gorgeous little, or not so little ;) Alfie, who is about 6 months young :O).
I have been out shopping for gifts nearly every day for the past two weeks lol and as I was sitting on the wooden boards of my front room wrapping away merrily, with the pile of ribbon adorned gifts steadily getting higher and higher, it suddenly came to me!!! how the feck am I going to get myself, my clothes and ALL these gifts on a train, across London on the tube and over to the far east of England on Christmas eve???? LMAO, this will be an awkward journey.
Over the years I have struggled with many things in life, as one does ;) reading, writing, spelling, retaining information when trying to learn, remembering names and faces. The list is huge and goes on but after reading 'Dyslexia the Miracle Cure' by Wynford Dore my life is changing and very fast.
After reading the book only a month or so ago I then joined up on the 'DORE' programme. This is a drug free, exercised based programme and after only week of following the simple programme I am already, amazingly and easily starting to remember new words and their meanings.
It is awesome and fascinating how it is working so soon but two days into the programme I started to look through my dictionary and wrote down a new word and its meaning. Now I have remembered 9, yes NINE new words and their meanings. This is like bloody fec**ng heck!!! I have NEVER been able to retain and recall information like this and it is so simple, i'm not straining at all :)
People if you have or if you know anyone who suffers with dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, dyspraxia, or any of the other 'labeled' learning difficulties then please get them a copy of this book, put them onto the 'Dore.co.uk' web site. Help change their lives, help give them back the life the have never had.
Put them in touch with me if they would like fa first hand account of how simple and effective this programme is. My contact details are on my web site www.DeepTissueHolisticMassage.com
Happy Christmas fo Ho Holks

SkyDive 'UPDATE'

Hi,
well the 14th of August and my Charity Sky Dive has been and gone.....

The jump never happened............... I think for this day it was not meant to be........

My lift arrived on time at 6am and we set off to pick up one other.... we got lost looking for her address in the centre of the city lol, not the best start and already running late.
When we were travelling through Marlborough in Wilts when we had a phone call from one of the St Michaels organisers.... 'Help' came the call down the phone.." we have broke down at a garage near the M4".
Phoar... deep out breath and around we turn. You see they had all the medical forms for the 26 of us who were planning on taking the plunge, without which no-one would be able to jump so we had to go and get those to keep the day working.
Well, they had not actually broke down as such :D the driver, who shall remain nameless(Katie Farmer), after taking a P, knocked the key off the top of the loo and yes after she had just press the flush button and yes you have guessed it.... the soddin key went around the bend..... I can feel your tears of laughter already ha ha ha
Well the glass had already been smashed and the paperwork was there waiting so we could straight away turn about and head off on our journey to the jump site, quite far behind schedule now.
Arrived and booked in only to find out my medical form, although signed had not been stamped!!! So you see, this was most definitely not meant to happen on this day.... though I kept fighting it and with the aid of a great doctor.. who was tracked down to just off of Harley St in London, allowed us to fax him another form with which he then signed and stamped and faxed back :D
So finally I was told "yes" I felt like and orange on the DelMonty estate just before it was to get squashed...
Waited around, listened to people getting seriously upset, winding themselves up with tails of woe and worry lol i just walked away and chose not to listen. It is a scary enough situation without putting yourself through unnecessary added stress I can assure you.
16 of our group managed to get up and take the free fall plunge when at 4pm it got rather cloudy, again, and has had been happening throughout the day. Only thinhg was this time it was realy low, 2,500ft and this time it never shifted and so at 19:00 they sent us home and re-scheduled the rest of us for this coming wednesday.

Fingers crossed this will be my time....

My thoughts and love go out to the family of and the guy who jumped from 10,00 this weekend and whos shute never opened. He is in hospital with critical head injuries....

A rare and very sad event and i wish him a full and speedy recovery
